Welcome to Prague! This is one pretty city with plenty to keep you occupied. From the astronomical clock to the Castle District and the awesome statue-lined wonder that is Charles Bridge, there’s almost TOO much to see. Get out there and explore!

Oh hello, free day in Prague. Swing by the John Lennon wall for a profile pic to remember, try trdelník (warm, sugary pastry goodness) or simply kick back and indulge in a local beer or two. Well, it is the festive season, after all…

Wawel Castle could only be built after a cobbler’s apprentice did the impossible: he slayed a dragon. A city with history like that needs to be explored. Don’t sweat it, we’ll take you through the Old Town and the largest medieval market square in Europe to get you started.

Look up! St Mary’s near the main square is beautiful. Just wait ‘til you get inside. Want more from your free day here? Why not cruise around the hipster Jewish quarter, visit Schindler’s Factory or dig in to a plate of pierogi? These dumpling-like pieces of deliciousness will have you applying for your Polish passport, stat.

We’ll pay a visit to the former concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau today. Take the time to reflect en route to Slovakia, where a guided tour of Bratislava awaits. Then, the evening is all yours. Don’t miss the buzzing bar and café scene while you’re here!

Mozart, Beethoven and Freud called Vienna home and they left a huge impression on the world. Visit a wiener kaffeehaus (coffee house) before getting ‘Bach’ on track with a performance by a Viennese chamber orchestra (optional). But first, a driving tour.

Swap the classical music for the chance to gorge on goulash and langos. Then: get your bearings on a driving tour and settle in. You’re in Budapest, baby!

Széchenyi thermal baths in winter? Ahhh yeah! Relax and unwind here on your free day (optional). Later, grab your fellow Topdeckers, put on a woolly hat and grab your cameras. Tonight, there’s a de-lish group dinner to look forward to!

Time to go home. Or not! Budapest has got plenty to keep you occupied, after all...
