Today's the day to tick off any leftover items on your 'things I MUST do in the bayou' list. Swing dance in NOLA, creep yourself out in one of the 'Cities of the Dead', find out what a Steam Calliope sounds like, or just have a last taste of true New Orlean crawfish.

Meals:
-Breakfast
We're off to seek out turquoise waters and sandy beaches for an afternoon of shopping, mooching or just plain lying around doing very little.

Meals:
-Breakfast
-Dinner
If you're still recovering from New Orleans, a chilled evening might be required. So ease into things in Florida's Gulf Coast with an optional sunset cruise. If Panama City Beach did the job of recharging your batteries, throw yourself into the nightlife at one of the many beach bars. Whatever you do, enjoy this balmy bit of beachside.

Meals:
-Breakfast

Optional activity:

Bienvenido a Miami, where the weather is hot and the characters are colourful. Tonight we roll into the land of ice cream-toned art deco buildings, Double Ds and Cuban deliciousness.

Included today:
-Driving tour of Miami

Meals:
-Breakfast
Take a trip to Little Havana to people-watch in the cafes, while street musicians provide a Cuban backing track. Stroll by the pretty pastel houses and dodge the Speedo-clad skaters of South Beach. Or let the Hop On Hop Off bus tour show you the sights so you get your bearings and see more of the nooks and crannies of the city. After an authentic Cuban dinner, see Miami come to life at night (if this place could get more lively) and join a club crawl.

Meals:
-Dinner
The closest you'll get to flying...without really leaving the ground. Take an airboat tour, shoot across the Everglades and (almost) get tangled in the mangroves. After that, Mickey and friends will be just around the corner, and if you've outgrown him, there'll soon be candy floss and roller coasters to revive your inner child as we head to Orlando.

Included today:
-Everglades airboat experience
If you've got your swimmers, get splash-tastic at one of the water parks or visit a galaxy that's not so very far, far away with the Star Wars attractions at Walt Disney World. If theme parks just aren't your bag there are the botanical garden, wine bars, spas and shopping, or to hang out with the local foodies, try Ivanhoe Village for lunch or dinner. Also an option: explore Kennedy Space Center.

Meals:
-Breakfast

Optional activities:
-Walt Disney World
-Universal Studios
-Kennedy Space Center
Wave goodbye to the Magic Kingdom and mouse ears, you're en route to the bona fide southern belle that is Savannah. Tonight it's ghost tour time (if you dare). After a hopefully nightmare-free sleep, take in the 18th-century buildings and dreamy tree-lined walkways of Savannah. Pare the pace way back with an (optional) slow-paced bike tour, then have your own "life is like a box of chocolates" moment where Forrest Gump waited for the bus.

Before hitting Wilmington, sample the charm of Charleston. Beer geeks rejoice, because this place knows a thing or two about craft beers and bottle shops.

The White House at night is a sight not to be missed.

We stay at good quality hotels that reflect the character of the local area as well as being as centrally located as possible, while striving to keep the cost affordable. However, standards and ratings may differ to what you are used to in your own country. It’s also worth noting that standards may also vary throughout the different regions of the country you are visiting.

The 'More Inclusions' section of this document details what type of accommodation is used for our overnight stops.

If you are a solo traveller, you will always be sharing a room with someone of the same sex. If you are travelling as a couple and would prefer to have a double bed, please officially request a double room with your travel agent or Customer Service Consultant. We never presume that two people travelling together are a couple, even if you share the same surname, unless informed otherwise.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have booked pre or post trip accommodation, please note that most hotels in North America require you to present a credit card at check in even if your accommodation has been pre-paid for. The hotel will either place a temporary hold on a set amount (called a pre-authorisation) or will make a manual swipe of the card. This is done to cover incidentals, for example if you consume something from the mini-bar, or if you damage the hotel room. Your card will NOT actually be charged unless you use the mini-bar, etc. Please ask the hotel front desk clerk for a further explanation when checking in if you are unsure about why they need the card. Again, this is standard procedure at most hotels and is typically not something you need to be concerned about.

If you have any dietary requirements we will make every effort to cater to your specific needs as long as you advise your travel agent or Customer Service Consultant when you book, or make note of this in the Topdeck App when you check in (refer below). One of the best parts of travelling is experiencing the nightlife and entertainment each city has to offer. However, amidst the fun and excitement, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings and personal safety as well. Before you hit the road with us, it’s important to be aware of the following:

When you’re on a night out, remember to avoid walking alone, particularly through deserted areas like beaches and back streets. Always stick together, take a taxi where possible, and keep a note of your accommodation details so you can find your way back to your fellow Topdeckers if you become separated.

In some countries, alcoholic measures can be considerably larger than what you may be used to. Try to keep track of what you’re drinking, and if you see one of your trip mates looking a little worse for wear, take them back to your accommodation. Be cautious when accepting drinks from strangers and never leave your drink unattended.

It’s also important to be aware that what you might consider harmless flirting may be interpreted differently in some countries. Be yourself and have fun, but don’t be naïve, and be mindful of the signals you are sending out so that you don’t find yourself in an uncomfortable situation.
