This trip kicks off amidst the blue waters and yachts of the port town of Fethiye. Trust us – there are definitely worse places to start a trip! Get excited, ‘cos it’s gonna be an amazing six days...

On to Pamukkale for a dip in the best natural hot tubs in Turkey. Then: take a tour of the ancient Roman city Hierapolis before we roll into Kusadasi in the early evening.

First up today: channel those Indiana Jones vibes as we check out the ruins of the Roman city of Ephesus. This place is the home of the Temple of Artemis - one of the seven ancient wonders of the world. Amongst the many buildings (dating back to 3,000 BC), you'll see forgotten city halls, a former library, a Greek amphitheatre and a stadium whose last race saw chariots and horses compete. The rest of the day is yours to explore Kusadasi as you please. Flex your haggling skills at the Grand Bazaar, hit the beach or go baklava hunting. You can't go wrong.

Next stop, Troy! Think: an ancient battle, hidden soldiers and that movie with Brad Pitt. But first: a visit to Pergamon Acropolis. We'll spend the night in Çanakkale after a photo op with a certain wooden horse. New profile pic?

On to the shores of Gallipoli, where a WWI military campaign changed the histories of Australia, New Zealand and Turkey forever. After paying our respects at the Australian War Memorial at Lone Pine and the New Zealand Memorial at Chunuk Bair, we'll visit ANZAC Cove and the Turkish Memorial. Then: prepare yourself for a few teary goodbyes at our farewell dinner in Istanbul this evening.

You can never have enough baklava. Eat yourself into a food coma this morning before we go our separate ways.
