From Manhattan to Miami, take on the East Coast with this one-of-a-kind trip. This adventure starts with the madness of NYC and more iconic landmarks than you can shake a selfie stick at (hello Statue of Liberty). Then we take to the skies to land in the home of buff bodies, art deco and eternal sunshine: Florida. This corner of the US has it all. Feed your brain at the Kennedy Space Center and then fill your tum in Miami’s Little Havana. Need to cool off with all that excitement? Try air boating through the Everglades or take the day to dive and snorkel off the Florida Keys. Pack your bags – we’ll see you in Manhattan.

Ready to take Miami? Good. We’ve got a jam-packed day to keep you on your toes. We’ll kick things off an airboat experience through the Everglades, followed by a Miami city tour – and to finish, we’ve got a tasty Cuban dinner to look forward to.

Hello, free day in Miami! Put on your exploring hat, because the likes of downtown Miami, the waterfront and Little Havana are just waiting for you to come and take a look around. If you get bored of hanging around on dry land, you could always take to the water on an optional speedboat trip.

Ready to hit the beach? We thought so. Florida Keys ticks all the boxes with scuba diving, snorkelling and suntanning opportunities aplenty. This famous chain of islands along the southern tip of Florida is all yours to enjoy over the next two days. Score!

Ahoy there! A taste of life on the ocean wave can be yours if you take the option to head out on an all-day sailing adventure today. Think: snorkelling + jet skiing + parasailing + food + drinks. Best. Day. Ever.

Join the crew for one last breakfast together in Florida Keys before we make our way back to Miami, where our trip ends. But who says you can’t keep the adventure going?

Hostel Plus trips feature our most eclectic types of accommodation. While modern hostels make up the majority of your overnight stays, you may also stay in hotels (free upgrade - yeah!), lodges, or similar depending on the trip you’re on.

The 'More Inclusions' section details what type of accommodation will be used for overnight stops on your trip.

The number of people to a room on Hostel Plus trips will vary. In hostels, you will sleep in multi-share rooms and share with between 3 and 7 others, while in hotels you will be in twin-share rooms. Lodges sleep 2 people to a room, with 2 rooms per suite.

Please note: When staying on a Hostel Plus trip, multi-share accommodation follows a single-sex policy.

Please note that drinks are not included with meals, except at breakfast where coffee, tea and/or juice may be included. If you wish to purchase drinks at dinner you may do so at your own expense.

If you have any dietary requirements we will make every effort to cater to your specific needs as long as you advise your travel agent or Customer Service Consultant when you book, or make note of this in the Topdeck App when you check in (refer below). However, please be aware that although we will do everything in our power to arrange it, we cannot guarantee that every restaurant we use will be able to cater to all dietary needs. We also cannot cater for tastes or dislikes, as most of our included evening meals feature a set menu.

One of the best parts of travelling is experiencing the nightlife and entertainment each city has to offer. However, amidst the fun and excitement, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings and personal safety as well. Before you hit the road with us, it’s important to be aware of the following:

When you’re on a night out, remember to avoid walking alone, particularly through deserted areas like beaches and back streets. Always stick together, take a taxi where possible, and keep a note of your accommodation details so you can find your way back to your fellow Topdeckers if you become separated.

In some countries, alcoholic measures can be considerably larger than what you may be used to. Try to keep track of what you’re drinking, and if you see one of your trip mates looking a little worse for wear, take them back to your accommodation. Be cautious when accepting drinks from strangers and never leave your drink unattended.

It’s also important to be aware that what you might consider harmless flirting may be interpreted differently in some countries. Be yourself and have fun, but don’t be naïve, and be mindful of the signals you are sending out so that you don’t find yourself in an uncomfortable situation.
